A day in the life of a Military wife

This morning I woke up at 4:30 Am to drive my Wonderful husband to the Metro Station so he could once again. go on a one week mission to Germany. (he does this once a month when he is not on a 4-6 month deployment) I dropped him off gave him a kiss goodbye and watched him walk away while I was driving off to return home to our sleeping 4 children. as he walked away this time I started to cry the thought came into my head that that could be the last time that I ever see him, or kiss him again. it was a horrible thought one that I have not had in a very long time, I try not to think about what he does or where he goes when he is off flying because I know that I would worry and it would make me crazy, so I try very hard to push it to the back of my mind and forget about it. I have been unable to do that today. this wonderful Man is the greatest Man I have ever known he is my Best friend, my knight in shining armor, and if anything were to ever happen to him, I would be completely lost. I know how blessed my kids and I are to have him in our lives. and what a Blessing it that he chose me to be his Eternal Companion, he loves me completely and unconditionally. I am so Proud of who he is, I am so proud of him for his sacrifice and the way in which he serves this great Country of ours, so that I and my children will continue to have the freedoms that we so often take for granted. Thank you my Wonderful Husband for blessing my life and the lives of our 5 beautiful Children.
